PENSIONS

Can I retire at 63 in Cyprus?

Yes, with two conditions: a permanent actuarial reduction of 0,5% for every month before 65 (up to −12% at 63), and an insurance density of at least 70% of your reference years — effectively a near-full career. The statutory age is 65; deferring up to 68 increases the pension by 0,5% per month (+18% at 68). Both adjustments are permanent for the life of the pension.
