PENSIONS
How is the old-age pension calculated in Cyprus?
Each year your insurable earnings convert into insurance points: earnings ÷ basic insurable earnings (€11.480 for 2026, capped at 6 points — ceiling €68.904). The pension has two parts: the basic (60% of your average basic points from age 16 to retirement — full rate €529,82/month in 2026, increased to 80/90/100% with dependants) and the supplementary (1,5% × total supplementary points × the basic insurable earnings, roughly €13,25 per point per month). Pensions are paid 13 times a year. Estimate yours at taxemas.com/en/pension.
